British Film Institute
-Established in 1933.
-Largest archive in the world,
50,000 fiction films, 100,000 documentaries and 625,000 television programmes.
-Protects and promotes British film and television programmes.

>Texts produced< Bullet Boy, Harry Potter and the Chamber of secrets and Harry Potter and the Philosophers stone.
-Books & Magazines
-Gifts
-Education Resources
-Sales and Promotion.

>Funding< The Film Council Fund B.F.I also money gathered from, the British Film Commission,Arts Council of England and Lottery Film Department. This then totaled to £145 million to distribute during the first three years of operation, therefore each year was renewed determing on the performance and the success of the film productions being made. Due to a shortage of funds, the BFI's production's stopped funding films in 1999. However, later on the following year BFI had reached an agreement with BBC and FilmFour and now fund low budget films.
