As you can see here the newspapers, performance on average has not been excellent in comparison to what newspapers like The Sun produce. The main reason behind this decline in newspapers is the economy. People do not want to buy newspapers especially quality newspapers, which are more compact and have more information inside them to purchase, the front pages in all the national newspapers are similar, and all talk about the credit crunch. Another reason why newspapers are not performing so well is because of e-media. People do not need to go out and purchase newspapers when it is cheaper on the internet and it is more convenient for the consumer.
